Ingredients for Chicken Souvlaki Recipe

  • Boneless chicken legs, cut into 1 inch pieces 400 grams

  • Thick yogurt 2-3 tablespoons

  • Garlic cloves finely chopped 2-4

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh oregano chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Oil for grilling


Step 1

Take the chicken pieces in a bowl. Add the garlic, lemon juice, yogurt, olive oil, oregano, salt and crushed peppercorns. Mix well and set aside to marinate for thirty to forty minutes.

Step 2

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers

Step 3

Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the skewers on the pan and grill for three to four minutes on both sides.

Step 4

Serve hot.
