Ingredients for Apple Pickle Recipe

  • Green apples grated 2

  • Dried pickle masala powder readymade 1/4 cup

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger finely chopped 1 inch

  • Garlic chopped 1/2 tablespoon

  • Raisins 1/4 cup

  • Sugar granulated 1/2 cup

  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger and garlic and sauté for a minute. Reduce heat, add raisins and sauté for a minute or till it puffs up.

Step 2

Add grated Washington Apples and sugar, mix and cook till sugar melts and the mixture thickens.

Step 3

Add vinegar and salt, mix and cook for a minute. Add dried pickle masala powder, mix and cook till it thickens.

Step 4

Remove from heat, cool and serve or store in a jar.
