Ingredients for Almond and Date Crunchies Recipe

  • Almonds 1 cup

  • Dates 1 cup

  • Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons

  • Digestive biscuits 8-10

  • Almonds slivers for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Grind the almonds in a food processor to make a fine powder. Add dates and cocoa powder and grind until it all sticks together and is well combined. Transfer in a bowl.

Step 2

Coarsely crush the biscuits, add to almond-date mixture and mix well.

Step 3

Shape the mixture into a log, wrap it with a butter paper and seal the edges. Refrigerate for two to three hours.

Step 4

Unwrap the log and cut into roundels.

Step 5

Serve garnished with almond slivers.
